ABOUT ME:

I have been working in the real estate industry since 2007 in Sales, Advocacy and Foreclosure Prevention

Professionally, I have been down many interesting roads prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway as a Real Estate Salesperson. Right out of college, I was a Private Banker for several years. When my daughter, now in her mid 20's began grade school, I returned to school part-time to change my career path and became a Business Education Teacher until 2004. I raised my family in Wantagh,NY and relocated to sunny Florida in 2004. My interest in the real estate profession grew from my natural propensity toward helping others to overcome adversity.  From 2005-2009, my work included real estate office administration, recruiting, foreclosure prevention and housing advocacy and sales. I arrived to Florida just in time for 5 hurricanes in a row that devastated many communities. That coupled with the mortgage trends of these particular years made it a time when the importance of community pulling together was key. Lives were affected in a similar way to what some will experience after the recent natural disasters in 2017. Many people were misplaced from their homes and many of the clients I worked with were underwater or upside down in their mortgages. Some had to short-sell their homes in times of financial hardship due to hurricane damage, illness and job loss. Needless to say, working with these clients required sensitivity, kindness and understanding along with good business sense for assisting reluctant sellers with life altering and tough decisions. I  have worked in other industries as well. I have held positions in computer integration sales, staff recruiting and taught Special Education and Business subjects. During all these experiences, I developed the necessary skills that easily transfer from industry to industry and situation to situation.  In each of my successful positions, the common thread is my skill at aligning the requirements or needs of individuals or companies to services or products of another. 

When I am not working with real estate clients, I enjoy my other role provides part-time referral based 1:1 direct care for elderly and autistic clients. Also, I enjoys volunteering with local Berkshire County human service agencies. I feel passionate about my role in these capacities and my role in one of the most important and emotional decisions a family makes; buying or selling a family home or business. 

Berkshire County is a wonderful place to live and work with many options for weekend “Staycations”. I am in love with mountain views in a majestic place and I thoroughly enjoy sharing why with others.
