Mary started her sales career at 10 years old in Warren, Michigan and didn't look back.. she started selling her toys and candy door to door to raise money for a boy who was in need of a kidney transplant.  This speaks volumes as to the diligent, hard working and compassionate woman she is today.
After several years in New York City, Mary's family decided to pack up with their first baby girl and move to Westchester, New York.  She ended up selling her apartment on East 52nd Street herself and through that experience, found her true calling - Real Estate.  Her passion for real estate led her to Columbia County, New York.  She started out as a weekender and then moved up full time.
Prior to her career in real estate, Mary attended the esteemed Tobe Coburn School on Madison Avenue and entered into the world of Fashion.  Her achievements led her to Vice President of sales for a leading Fashion Trend Forecasting Service which allowed her to experience another dream which was to travel the world.  She did just that by traveling throughout the regions of France, London, Germany, Switzerland, and Australia, which also allowed her to develop many lifelong relationships which she still cherishes today.
Mary's life experiences, ability to listen, and hard work has led her to be a consistent top producer in the area.  Being on the buying and selling end in every market, Mary has an inherent sense what her clients and customers command.  Her understanding and knowledge of the market along with her high energy and enthusiasm give her the ability to guide you through the transaction process seamlessly, making it an enjoyable experience along the way.

“Mary is a great real estate agent. Ours was not an easy house to sell, an executive home with incredible views in an out of the way place. She went above and beyond to find the right buyer and negotiated hard on our behalf. In the end, Mary got us our listing price, which is unheard of in this kind of market. There was a minor snafu at closing, and Mary made it disappear like magic. If you’re looking for someone to help you price your home and market the bejeezus out of it, and who has your best interests at heart, Mary’s your agent.”

“It would be hard to exaggerate Mary Beaton Stapleton's ability to sell. If you are looking for someone who won't quit and is always looking for options AND for someone who is working for our best interest I can highly recommend Mary. We have used Mary twice, once for a family home and once for a commercial building and her advice and insight were practical and effective.”

"Mary Stapleton is a terrific real estate broker. We recommend her without reservation. She helped us to buy a house and sell a house, and was always available, thoughtful, and warm. Mary was tireless in her advocacy for us. We had a house that was on the market for a long time and never felt that she neglected us or our interests. She kept us informed, she tried different possibilities (rental vs selling, rental as a forerunner to selling) and ultimately was able to sell the house at a price that was even slightly higher than we had come to believe was possible. She is also just a pleasure to get to know. She is smart, funny, even-tempered and responsive.  What more could you ask for in a broker?"

"After spending almost two years trying to sell our building on River Street in Troy, we eventually hooked up with Mary. Within a couple of weeks she had a buyer for us and sold the building for more than we imagined we could get for it. She facilitated every part of the deal for us, and even went above and beyond during some of the hardest parts of it. I would use her again in a second."
